Breeding Lease

When a stallion is bred under lease or partnership agreement, or a mare held under a lease or in partnership, and such lease or partnership agreement is filed in the office of the Executive Secretary, then the signature of the record owners of the lessee shall be recognized, unless such lease or partnership agreement expressly limits the right of the owner, partner, or lessee to execute breeder’s certificates. Any such limitation must be clear and unambiguous.

Breeding lease is a maxium of three years.
